Bangladesh crossed 4,00,000 tenders mark on the Bangladesh Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) Portal (22 July 2020). This is a milestone achievement by 1,343 Government Organizations of all 56 Ministries. Of these 2,52,539 Tenders have already been awarded. The total Tender Value is Tk. 4,10,210 crore or over US$51 billion. The Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU), IMED Division, Ministry of Planning is the authority owning the e-GP System.
